What's on the workbench?

In this "Intro to Stained Glass" class, participants will enjoy a fun and engaging introduction to the art of stained glass within 3 hours. You'll learn the fundamentals of working with glass, from cutting to soldering and any other tips as you create your own unique stained glass piece. Patterns will be provided as templates.

What You Will Learn:

Participants will work through the entire process of creating a stained glass piece:

Cutting Glass: Learn to safely and accurately cut glass using provided patterns.
Grinding Edges: Use a glass grinder to smooth the edges of your pieces for a clean and professional finish.
Foiling: Apply copper foil to your glass pieces to prepare them for soldering.
Soldering: Assemble your piece by soldering the foiled edges together to bring your design to life.

You’ll leave the class with a completed stained glass creation and the skills to tackle future projects. All materials and tools supplied, including safety gear.

Who Should Attend:

This class is perfect for beginners and anyone interested in exploring stained glass as a hobby or creative outlet. All tools and materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary. Please try to arrive 10 minutes early. Future recurring Stained glass drop-in club will be an option to work on your own after this class.

This is a PREREQUISITE for intermediate stained glass classes and stained glass club.

Class Sizes?

We keep classes small, 3-6 people max. More space, more attention and better vibes.

We can host your groups, but will have the same student-teacher ratio!

Booking Policy

Teens under 18 can attend with guardian consent or with guardian.
