What's on the workbench?

In this Introduction to Stained Glass workshop, you'll create your own stained glass piece while learning the fundamental techniques used in traditional stained glass making. Over the course of 3 hours, you'll work through the entire process, from cutting and shaping glass to foiling and soldering, with guidance from experienced instructors. A selection of patterns will be provided, making this class accessible for complete beginners.

What You Will Learn

Participants will work through the complete stained glass process, including:

  • Cutting Glass: Learn how to safely and accurately cut glass using provided patterns and templates.
  • Grinding Edges: Use a glass grinder to smooth and refine each piece for a precise fit and professional finish.
  • Foiling: Apply copper foil to prepare your glass pieces for assembly.
  • Soldering: Join your pieces together using traditional stained glass soldering techniques.
  • Finishing: Learn the final steps that bring your stained glass project together.

Class Sizes?

We keep classes small, 3-6 people max. More space, more attention and better vibes.

We can host your groups, but will have the same student-teacher ratio!

Booking Policy

Teens under 18 can attend with their guardians consent or with a guardian.

We kindly ask for 7 days of notice prior to class for cancellation or rescheduling. We try to be as accommodating as possible. This enables us to keep classes small and intentional.
