Stained Glass 101

In this "Intro to Stained Glass" class, participants will enjoy a fun and engaging introduction to the art of stained glass within 3 hours. You'll learn the fundamentals of working with glass, from cutting to soldering and any other tips  as you create your own unique stained glass piece.  Patterns will be provided as templates. 

What You Will Learn:

• Cutting Glass: Learn to safely and accurately cut glass using provided patterns.
• Grinding Edges: Use a glass grinder to smooth the edges of your pieces for a clean and professional finish. 
• Foiling: Apply copper foil to your glass pieces to prepare them for soldering.
• Soldering: Assemble your piece by soldering the foiled edges together to bring your design to life.  

You’ll leave the class with a completed stained glass creation and the skills to tackle future projects. All materials and tools supplied, including safety gear.
