What's on the workbench?
In this beginner-friendly embroidery workshop, you’ll spend three hours exploring the relaxing art of hand embroidery. Learn essential techniques and a variety of basic stitches as you craft your own set of charming embroidered holiday baubles. Patterns and templates are provided - just bring your imagination!
What You’ll Do
Create up to three embroidered ornaments as you learn to:
- Transfer designs, properly tension fabric in a hoop, thread a needle, and start your work with away knot
- Practice a range of versatile stitches - running stitch, backstitch, satin stitch, French knots, chain stitch, threading, and whipping
- Securely weave in your ends for a polished finish
- Assemble and back your pieces so they’re ready to hang or gift
You’ll leave with completed ornaments and the foundational embroidery skills to continue stitching with confidence. All tools and materials are included.
