What's on the workbench?

In this beginner-friendly embroidery workshop, you’ll spend two hours exploring the relaxing art of hand embroidery. Learn essential techniques and a variety of basic stitches as you craft your own set of charming embroidered holiday baubles. Patterns and templates are provided - just bring your imagination!

What You’ll Do

Create up to three embroidered ornaments as you learn to:

  • Transfer designs, properly tension fabric in a hoop, thread a needle, and start your work with away knot
  • Practice a range of versatile stitches - running stitch, backstitch, satin stitch, French knots, chain stitch, threading, and whipping
  • Securely weave in your ends for a polished finish
  • Assemble and back your pieces so they’re ready to hang or gift

You’ll leave with completed ornaments and the foundational embroidery skills to continue stitching with confidence. All tools and materials are included.

Who Should Attend

This workshop is perfect for absolute beginners or anyone looking to try embroidery as a creative, calming hobby. No experience is needed.

Prerequisite

None! This class is open to all skill levels - no prior embroidery or hand-sewing experience required.

Class Sizes?

We keep classes small, 3-6 people max. More space, more attention and better vibes.

We can host your groups, but will have the same student-teacher ratio!

Booking Policy

Teens under 18 can attend with their guardians consent or with a guardian.

We kindly ask for 7 days of notice prior to class for cancellation or rescheduling. We try to be as accommodating as possible. This enables us to keep classes small and intentional.
