Silver Clay Pendant Workshop

Ever wanted to make your own silver jewelry but thought it was too technical?
This beginner-friendly class introduces you to Silver Clay. A playful medium that feels like clay but fires into solid silver. Over the course of the workshop, you’ll create two pendants, add gemstones, fire them in our studio kiln, and finish them with professional cleaning and oxidation techniques.

Perfect for a date night activity or just a fun way to spend an evening making something beautiful and wearable. Warning: it’s very fun and slightly addictive.

We provide all materials, tools, and PPE.

Course Objectives

  • Learn the basics of working with Silver Clay.

  • Shape and design two unique pendants from start to finish.

  • Set small gemstones into your pieces before firing.

  • Understand kiln or torch firing and transformation from clay to solid silver.

  • Clean, oxidize, and polish your pendants for a professional finish.

What You Will Learn

  • Clay Handling & Forming – How to sculpt and shape Silver Clay.

  • Gem Setting in Clay – Safe ways to embed gemstones before firing.
